What counts
A genuine like-for-like quote
- In writing, dated, and from a properly registered installer
- For the same property and the same work
- For equivalent equipment and the same warranty length
- Including the same inclusions: flue, filter, flush, controls, removal
- Currently valid, not expired
- Shown to us before you book with us
What doesn't
Where we will say no
- A figure someone mentioned on the phone but never put in writing
- A quote from a company that has since stopped trading
- A quote that leaves out work your house actually needs
- A price so low the job can't be done safely for it
- A second attempt on a quote we have already beaten
If another quote comes in cheaper because it leaves something out, we’ll show you exactly where the difference sits so you can decide whether you want that part of the job or not. Sometimes you genuinely don’t, and that’s a fair way to save money.
Why we can say it
We’d rather lose a job than cut a corner in someone’s house
The promise has limits, and we’d rather print them here than have you find them later. Any promise with no conditions at all is worth reading twice, ours included, because the company still has to be around in year three of your warranty to be any use to you.
