How it works
Tell us once. We take it from there.
The awkward bit is usually everything before you commit. Here is exactly how ours runs, start to finish.
- 01
Tell us about your home
A short set of questions about your current setup, your hot water and your property, plus a few photos of what you have now. No account to create, and no callback before you have seen anything.
- 02
Get your price in writing
What is included, what is not, and what happens if something unexpected turns up. For most jobs we can tell from your photos. If yours genuinely needs eyes on it, we say so here rather than after you have paid a deposit.
- 03
Pick a date
You get a date, a rough duration and the name of who is coming. If anything changes we tell you, rather than you finding out at eight in the morning.
- 04
We fit it
Floors covered, old kit taken away, and the controls set up and explained in plain English before we leave.
- 05
Paperwork and aftercare
Warranty registered in your name, notification handled, and a number that reaches a person if you need us again.
Questions
Before you commit to anything
Do I have to have a survey?
For most straight boiler swaps, no. Photos of the boiler, the flue and the space around it usually tell us what we need. Heat pumps always need a survey, and air conditioning needs a short one. We tell you which yours is up front, not after taking money.
What if the price changes on the day?
It should not. The more you show us up front, the less chance there is of a surprise, which is the real reason we ask for photos. If we do find something that genuinely was not visible in them, we stop and talk to you first. Nothing extra is charged without you agreeing to it, and if you would rather walk away at that point you can.
How quickly can you come?
Depends on the job and the time of year. January is not September. We will give you a real date rather than a promise we can't keep.
Who actually does the work?
Qualified engineers appropriate to the job: Gas Safe registered for gas work, F-Gas qualified for refrigerant work. Registration details are on your paperwork and you can check them independently.
What happens if something goes wrong afterwards?
You call us and we come back. That is the whole reason we keep the patch small enough to drive across in an hour.
